The book is wonderfully written and perfectly laid out. The authors dispense with all the B.S. and just bring the scientific truth around energy balance and why you need a lifestyle of eating that you can sustain.
Not your typical "diet book"
Incredibly informative and a great distillation of the knowledge needed to really change the way we think about losing weight. Not your typical "diet book" and I'm only about 100 pages in and I appreciate the candor the authors both give about why 95% of people can't keep the weight off once they lose it. Glad I bought it and I'm excited to finish it.
An excellent book
I was hesitant to purchase for a long time. I've bought and gone through so many "diet" books before. But since purchasing and reading through it I feel I'm never going to waste money on another "fad" book again. This book is full of practical tips and phenomenal sourcing to take an evidence based approach to lifestyle changes. It's practical and flexible, candid and honest. I'm glad I bought it, glad I read it. I definitely recommend it to anyone truly looking for solutions, not just the latest craze.
