This book changed everything for me

I read it in two days. Finally got familiar with the science behind nutrition, and went onto loose 17 kilos (using the Carbon app). I'm writing this nearly two years after reading the book. Can't thank Layne enough for writing it. I'm finally not fat.

Loved this book! As expected from these authors, straight to the point, backed up with studies, easy to incorporate, just makes sense. I've already followed this style of deficits and learned about reverse dieting from Layne's posts many, many years ago (which works very well btw), but they really took the education value to the next level with this book. Great for coaches working with clients and those looking for a lasting diet solution alike. Next, please add an audible option so I can read again on the go, lol. :) � I will happily purchase anything these authors put out, gold!

Finally the truth about fat loss!!

I read this in one setting! Having read tons of diet books my whole life due to my ongoing struggles with gaining / losing fat, and it was such a relief to read this refreshing truths and learn some serious science and behavioral common sense (that’s not so common!) This book was worth every penny and I will never buy another diet/ fat loss book again. This is all is need for the rest of my life. Thank you so much for such an excellent publication!!

Best invested time for an obese individual like myself.

For me, it was an awesome read. Authors did a wonderful job of connecting the dots between science and real life aplicability using understandable language for a non-science person. The book made me even more aware why weight loss is a struggle with the underlying mechanisms accompanying it. It was a wonderful introduction to start taking control of ones nutrition and with carbon diet coach in combo its making a change in my life as we speak. Good luck to all who venture into calorie restriction, maintenance or bulk. <3
